Chinese New Year 2015: Celebrating Year of the Goat

On the 27th of February 2015, MASAT, in collaboration with the Malaysian Singaporean Student Association(MSSA) and Singaporean Malaysian Student Association (SMSA) of UofT Missisauga organized a Chinese New Year dinner to usher the Year of the Goat.

The event was held once again at Dim Sum King, downtown Toronto. We were also honoured to have Pn. Noor Marlina, Education Attaché from Education Malaysia Chicago during the event. It was a 10 course meal attended by about 120 people, mostly members from the three associations. The event kick-started with the tossing of Yee Sang (or Yusheng) as a symbol of abundance and prosperity for the year, and ended with lucky draws.
