BBQ for Graduating Students

There comes April again. It means, to us students; exam. Lots of them. But, for these 4 students, it means something else for them (well at least I think they were). Because these 4 students, (Arif, Jin Yong, Safwan, and Mubeen) are having their last exam in their undergraduate studies. That means freedom. Congratulation on their will-be-graduation (starts on mid-June)

Our 'Sportsman', Syafiq organized a barbeque to celebrate this event. And what a successful barbeque that is. Lots of the members turned up. Even some students from McMaster University and Carleton University showed up, which is great as we get to know each other. Unfortunately for our graduating students, only Arif and Jin Yong were free to come, as Safwan and Mubeen had flown all the way back to Malaysia. Nevertheless, though it had been raining for the first and last 30 minutes of the event, everyone went home having full stomach.

MASAT Election 2011/2012

Now this had happened a few months ago. Well, actually a month ago. But it worth stating it here, as there are some of us who might forget about this very important event.

The title says it all. MASAT election. Who would want to miss that. At least for the members who didn't have any better things to do other than games and more games. To record, there are roughly more than 100 members of MASAT attended this event. The hosts are two first year students, Edmond and Zakkeyyah, the two First Year Representative in MASAT Committee.

Welcoming

Assalamualaikum and a good day to the readers. This is to welcome you guys to the new Malaysian Students’ Association of University of Toronto (MASAT) website. The previous website is this one (link), which is quite an impressive website.

The reason why the change in platform is because comparatively, Blogger has much nicer or we can say more user-friendly user interface than Wordpress. That's said, it has less features than the latter. But, as this website will have some blog writers of different level of computer knowledge, so the new platform is chosen.

The purpose of this website, is to have the writers posts about updates, events, and also anything that can be related or benefits any or all MASAT members. Do subscribe and hope you guys will check the updates soon.
