Registration fee of 10CAD were collected from all members at the registration table by our lovely MASAT's Treasurer and Secretary, Vyn Gie and Viatrix.
Albeit we were running behind schedule, our admirable President, Faris are able to give a short and simple speech which was then continued with the introduction of the new first years students as per MASAT's yearly tradition. We welcome a total of 9 first years both from UofT St. George and UofT Missisauga.

We were served with all kinds of food; pulut kuning, rendang ayam, kuzi ayam, rendang daging (from Malay Kitchen), nasi impit, kuah kacang, bihun goreng, mee goreng, roti jala, kari ayam and many more. As a dessert, we had mooncakes, chocolate oreo cake, cekodok pisang, kuih sagu and of course the highlight of the food mania was the air jagung! The attendees dined delightfully until 8.30 pm.

Hello our dearest followers!
Last weekend, we organised the Games Day in collaboration with the previous Execs (2014/15) as the first event so that we can bond together as well as learn on managing an event. Being the fresh Execs, we learned a lot on that day and understand that it was not as easy as it may seem on event management. The Games Day was also our first collaboration with the UofT Board Games Club so that we have variety of board games to play. Also, we have variety of video games console such as PlayStation 4, Nintendo Wii and the classic Jeopardy game. Not to forget, we had MasterChef too where contestants had to prepare a dish of Canadian and Malaysian food fusion.
That's all for now! Till next time... Have a nice day!

First of all, we would like to thank Malaysian Students’ Association at University of Toronto (MASAT) student body for entrusting the committee with navigating the directions for Malaysian Bazaar 2015; Our sponsors, of which without your generous contributions it would be very difficult for us to run this event; MBazaar15 dedicated and energetic team of organizing committee, some of which have overworked themselves with event-planning workload equivalent to taking an extra university course or two; Our student volunteers, of whom their drive to be involved in this community is something that we should admire; and the dearest guests, who made Malaysian Bazaar 2015 all the more merrier and colourful. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.

Teach For Malaysia (TFM) is now accepting applications to its 2015 Fellowship cohort! If you are wondering what TFM is, it's a non-profit organization that addresses the education inequity problem, happening in our beloved Malaysia. We always see the brighter side of the spectrum, but in reality there are thousands of young kids that can't afford or didn't have the resource to get a good education, which is the single factor that determine their future. Teach For Malaysia believes that this problem is one of the greatest and most urgent challenges in our country and the world today.
Last year's winter holiday was cold. Cold enough so that we'll be staying inside all the time. Luckily, there's some sports events to keep us active and warmed. And to make you feel better; this year; the second MY Canada Games will be back. Thanks to the organizing committee from MASAT, MyMac and M@C.
Unlike last time, MY Canada Games 2012 will be a one-day event, which is on December 24, 2012. Four types of sport are being contested; SOCCER, BASKETBALL, BADMINTON and VOLLEYBALL. The games will be held on Ultrasport Centre and Agincourt Badminton Centre at Scarborough (do not be worried, as they're both next to each other and along the TTC line).
Registration will be opened soon, in which we'll update you guys later. But, for now if anyone wants further information on this event; do visit the official website; MY Canada Games 2012, and their Facebook page; MCG2012.
